I had a woman tell me I couldn't use flavored lubricants, so since this is your typical plain jane lubricant is it okay or no ?

yeah, flavored lube can cause infections unfortunately. that lube should work just fine for vaginal or anal sex, but if youre doing anal it might not last very long.
