you're supposed to be on the toilet when you do it and when you're going to bed. I put it in and clench so nothing comes out then wash my hands and go to bed so none comes out. itching means you had a really bad one

2nd question. that stuff that's inserted has to come out & it's gonna look weird when it does. it's just seeping out basically

& it's good to do it at night before bed so it can settle in there. & when you wake & go to the bathroom that's when it comes out the most

@kysonsmommy610, I put it in when I bought it yesterday afternoon, and then again after my shower before bed. I woke up with yellow gunk on my underwear. I wasn't sure if that was the infection coming out. Also, it didn't hurt but, I know I scraped like the bottom entrance, inside of my vagina if that makes sense.

I always insert it laying down right before bed.. Its the most relaxing.. Have some hand wipes for after your insert it..

lay down on your back in bed with your legs really wide open. with one hand open up your vagina and with the other insert the syringe thing like a tampon and put the gel in. go to sleep right after and when you wake up both some of the gel and the yeast will have came out. mine never itched but I'm gonna assume what other mommies said is right. i sleep naked bc my doctor recommended it but you don't have to do that. remember cotton panties are the best! & after showers lay naked in front of a fan with your legs open. your vagina needs air and free time.

When I've used Monistat before it starts to itch even more it sucks. I believe if you read the insert it says that that is a side effect. The yellow stuff that comes out is probably the medication. You pretty much insert it like a tampon. I'm sure you did it right, it's a weird applicator so scraping yourself can happen

There's different kids of Monistat. Some that you put in right before bed and some that you can use anytime. Some is 1 day, some are 7 days.... What kind did u get?
