Just curious... is postpartum bleeding any different after having a c section vs vaginal delivery?

C sections you usually don't bleed as long. I delivered vaginally and I haven't had a break from bleeding. I had my baby almost 6 weeks ago

i only bled for 4 weeks after my c section then spotted for 2 weeks

Usually c sections are shorter and less intense as well.

I had a c section just over 3 weeks ago. Stopped bleeding a week ago, now it's just kind of tinted discharge/slight spotting. I'm not sure if it's from delivery still or if it's from my birth control that I started about 2 weeks ago. But the bleeding got a lot lighter after the first 3 or 4 days.

mines last for six weeks

Had a c section the 18th and I barely bled, nurses said it wasn't as bad for me because i was never in labor. My csection was scheduled because he was breech.

I have a high chance of having a c section for my twins. The presenting baby is breech. thank you for the info i wasnt sure to expect it to be any different @ktwins188 @karstenal

aw man that sucks I delivered my twins vag. not to sound bad but it's going to be really hard having a c section

I hear the pain last for weeks

this is my first pregnancy so i have nothing to compare it to. Im prepared for anything at this point. My whole pregnancy has been the exact opposite from what i expected from bed rest to surgery among other things. Idc how they get here as long as they get here healthy @ktwins188
