I've stocked up on dummies, I'll definitely be offering them to my baby. They're made for a reason. I've nothing against anyone who chooses not to use them, like a lot of things it depends on the baby and your lifestyle. xx
My girls never wanted them buy my boys both had them they were bigger babies and nothing seemed to help soothe them apart from the dummy, mw advised me to get one so i did and it worked, both boys worshiped the dummy lol xx do what u think is needed or wanted for ur baby nobody can say its right or wrong, with my first son it was my saviour he was a 10lb 10 baby and he would feed every hour and half so midwife said to drag him over to 2 hours ect to use the dummy in between and it helped xx
Nothing against dummies for babies if they find them a comfort @jam123 They only become an issue once they're a bit older. Morgan had one just to get to sleep but gave it up at 18months. It's when I see older kids walking & talking with them I think 'Do they really need it?'
@jam123, i was completely against them but unfortunately my lil man refuses to sleep and gets himself in such a state so as a last resort we tried a dummy and he was out within seconds.. i only use it when he's fighting his sleep however as i don't want him becoming attached.. still hate them though 😂 x
Totally agree, I have 2 children 1st never had a dummy and definatly not giving this one a dummy it's a little harder to get them to soothe themselves when you make a bottle and putting them to sleep because it is comfort for them but so worth it in the end, but each to their own I wouldn't call somebody for using them it's everyone's personnel choice xx
