It's up to you but I would said if he's doing his part and is a good father why not give him the fathers last name that's still his child also even in the state of ga he can go get legitimatized and go through the courts and get the baby's last name changed. It's all up too you.

my girls have their fathers last name i am changing it though. my husband is adopting them since his behind isnt around. my husband and 1 of his siblings has his moms last name. his others have the fathers last name. so truly up 2 u

your last name in my opinion only because well I was raised always give my child my last name for religious reasons but even if you're not married to the father or even if the father is doing his part it's just something I've been accustomed to but as everyone else is saying that is your choice so whatever pleases you you should do what's best for your child

It is truly up to you. If your together and he is taking care of his responsibilities then let him have his father's name. Please don't name the baby after both of you. unnecessary and just added spelling for a child that isnt needed

My bf && I aren't married but all 3 of our girls have his last name, for one I HATE my last name, for two even not being married for legal reasons even with his last name he doesn't have rights unless he's legitimized meaning married at time of baby's birth or child support. If you're worried bout that kinda situation
