Exactly a week ago I was checked to see if I was dilated and wasn't at all. My baby is measuring two weeks ahead in size and if I go the full 40 weeks he will be 9/10 pounds. I'm freaking out that if I don't have him this week or the next I'll either have to be induced or have a c section. Should I be worried that I was dilated at all?

I was checked on Wednesday and by Friday I was 4 in dilated so my c-section was moved.

I wouldn't think too much about it. I was told my baby was going to be big so they induced me a little early & baby was only 5lbs. they're estimates are wrong sometimes. @katietay34

From what I've read and been told by family and friends, the estimates are OFTEN wrong. I'm in the same boat as you, "suspected big baby" but I'm not very confident in the estimates so I don't think I'll opt for induction unless this baby decides she isn't coming out on her own :)
