my sons 13 pounds and 27 inches long and he's 4 months. does seem small. is baby healthy tho?

Yeah that seems way small to me too! My girl is 12 lbs and 23 inches at 3 months.

My girl was 10lbs at 10 days old!

I feel like I can tell pretty well when a baby is healthy but he cried all church as if he was hungry and she would just shove his pacifier in his mouth & has no head support. @sarahb518 @mamaash

see I feel like that's not normal at all. she told me she was breastfeeding and formula as well so I know that he should be gaining more weight. I did that for my son since he kept going down on his weight and it helped. @meli2890

That doesn't sound good at all. Maybe if she is a close enough friend, try mentioning it to her that you are concerned. A pacifier shouldn't be the default of the baby sounds hungry. And no head support at 6 months?? My girl can hold her head up at 3 mos. It almost sounds like the baby is not thriving. I would be very surprised if their pediatrician hasn't said something to the parents. @luuuuuucyyy

that's really odd but... idk her situation and all babies are different! hopefully hes healthy.

I only see her on Saturdays but I will definitely be speaking to her when I can. yeah my son did as well, just worries me if somethings wrong with him and they don't know it. @sarahb518

She's a stay at home mom but don't know if she's going through things but he looks ok but it's just worrying me because she said it like oh yeah he turned 6 months today, so I asked her oh how much is weighing and she said 10 lbs and the last time I saw her which was a month ago she said the same thing. 😳 @kambam

my son is almost a month and weights 10lbs and 21 1/2 in.

wow that's kinda scary. my son at 6 months was around 18 lbs

hope the baby is ok!! 10 lbs at 6 months. is she taking the baby to the Dr? because I'm pretty sure her dr would've said something and maybe she's just not telling you if there is something wrong you know. maybe she's embarrassed to say
