I pulled a muscle in my arm. If I go to urgent care, can they even give me anything ?? I am in so…

They could give you mild muscle relaxers or just give you Tylenol.

they won't give you anything if your pregnant besides Tylenol, even muscle relaxers they are hesitate with. I've been to the ER over chronic back pain from my car accident and they wouldn't give me anything since it wasn't like life or death... you might have a better experience though

I had gallbladder attacks when I was pregnant with my daughter, they were convinced it was muscle spasms and gave me muscle relaxers which I never took, BECAUSE IT WASN'T A MUSCLE SPASM! Lol. But Tylenol isn't touching this pain! But I also don't want to take them if they are harmful...

@usafwife, I have gallstones and all I get for pain, even while I was in the hospital, is Tylenol

@kedrababy, it's some awful pain :( I would take this pulled muscle over that. I had mine removed right after I had my daughter thankfully

It really is. The meds didn't help at all. They told me they'll do the surgery after the baby but didn't give specifics. Did they remove it while u were still in the hospital after or u had to schedule it separately after birth? @usafwife

@usafwife, I hate to tell you no, but I highly doubt it. I tore some rib cartilage while at my Drs office, all they would offer is Tylenol & muscle relaxers. Neither of which did anything. Alternating ice & heat helped, but it was a brutal 3 days....I could hardly breathe. Good luck!

@kedrababy, Mine was after she was born. Maybe a month later. And after she was born it didn't get any better! As far as I'm concerned that pain is worst than labor! I'm so sorry you're dealing with that!

@angiek, That's what I assumed. And any prior experience with muscle relaxers never helped. I just wish Tylenol would help a little!!

@usafwife, I know! It's awful. Tylenol has never done anything for me. Hopefully your Drs have some tricks up their sleeves that mine didn't!
