when you try to do the most natural thing by breastfeeding your baby & end up admitted to hospital with a really bad infection and an abcess on your breast due to mistreated mastitis by your dr. now i have to stop feeding my LO.

@suzie80, Yea i have to have drainage and was advised to stop for the iv antibiotics and pain relief im getting. i dont mind as im in so much pain but if my gp had of seen me lastweek it maybe wouldnt have been so bad.

There's no reasons for u to stop with an abscess Hun I did and I was really poorly. I looked like I had been beaten up on my boobs too. Are you having surgical drainage? It's a shame your having to stop

Yeah mine was missed every time and I would end up battered bruises and hallucinating with such a high temp in agony shivery. Good luck Hun
