Thanks for all the advice ladies on my last post. I did a lot of thinking & I've come to realize my daughter is the first girl in my MILs life. She's had two sons & she was supposed to have a baby girl but she had an abortion. So, to her - Mia is very very special. & I can get over protective of my baby of course but I know I should be thankful to have in laws who want to be in Mia's life and who want to love and care for her so much. 💞 The biggest thing I have to realize is that mommy is irreplaceable & I will always be first to my little girl. 💫

Something I learned the hard way. I live with my in laws and my relationship with my mil was rocky for multiple reasons. I would get jealous and feel angry towards her(and others) when she had one or both of my babies for a certain amount of time thinking that I was missing out on them growing up. She was a difficult person to deal with but I never was able to separate our differences vs how she loved and cared for my kids, tremendously. Sometimes I felt like she was trying to be mommy. But a few months back, she passed and I've had plenty of time to think about how much she loved them and how she wanted to cherish any moment she had with them and how I am and always will be their mommy. I'll be the one they run to to fix whatever it is they need fixin; a banged up knee, hurt feelings, homework , etc. grandparents that genuinely care for their kids, love so much more on their grandchildren. Think about it. Their little baby has a baby, how much more perfect can that be for them? Especially as a first time mother, it's hard to realize these things because it's our first time experiencing so many different new emotions. It's definitely a normal thing to go through, but realizing that it's normal and then being thankful for the extra love and little break between being full time mommy is always nice. ☺️

It's truly the little things that we hold on to that make us smile or bitter so why not hold on to the smiles? :) when babygirl is older she'll always have the memories of those that loved her and held her hand. It's those moments that are most precious. And mommy always will be main squeeze 😊 and thank you, Hun.
