I'm freaking out because I just noticed how my mother in law puts my son to sleep. She basically hold him in her arms and shakes him to sleep. Now I'm terrified of him having "shaking baby syndrome. His neck does not move side to side but she moves him up and down.

@mommaofmrkj2014, I live with her and I can't take him away from her when she has him because it has caused major problems before.

if you feel it's an unsafe situation. do what is needed idc the problems it can cause or who gets upset or offended just take the baby and that's that

@mombie2be, I'd be upset. she needs to rock him gently back and forth. and that's your baby, you should be able to take him whenever you please without her getting upset. 😧
