After 3 days of slowing progressed labor, Total of 9 hours of active labor to deliver!! First epidural did t work and had to get another one!! Holy numbness. Thank god though. Because my water broke getting into the car going to hospital contractions were 39 seconds apart but the doctor said I did amazing even though was the worst pain ever. Our little peanut weighed in at just 5lbs 3 oz 18 1/2inches but is doing super amazing. She has to stay until Tuesday (pestering no longer) and I'm sad I'm being discharged tomorrow!! At least mommy and daddy get to come in when ever with our special pink bracelets to see and/or feed our little angel.

@mommy_to_be.taylor, I was high risk due to some medications I was on and couldn't come off of so at first she needed to be monitored for side effects/withdrawal syndrome but she's doing ok with that so because she's little and she wasn't breathing after I delivered her and she was full of fluid they are still keeping her to monitor her. She has a slightly less developed natural latching and sucking ability so it's been a struggle to feed her. They were doing blood sugar checks every time she eats. I was gestational diabetic so idk if that's why but her sugars are ok now and not being checked and was taken off the sugar checks earlier today. She's not a premmie but she's small so she's kind of being treated as one so her temp stays normal she doesn't get jaundice she's eating and going to the bathroom normally so she doesn't lose any weight and we can bring her home but not until Tuesday. But overall she's healthy and doing great.
