Craigslist always has posting of puppies for sale. Some can be expensive it all depends on the breed of the dog. I've seen as low as $125 to as high as $1500. If you want an older dog the pound is another place the pricing where I live is $150-$300 Depending on the size.

I would definently look at a shelter first. but then after that, I could always search on facebook
