with the holidays creeping up on us who travels to see family and who stays home? last year we traveled while I was preggo just for my family to change their plans last minute and end up half way back the way we had came after we had already gotten to their house! very frustrating when we live 2 hours away and drive a gas hog (an suv). so this year I plan on staying home even if that means it's just us and my in laws (because they live right around the corner). but what are some things that you do for those that stay home? I'm planning on sending out invites instead of just blatantly saying that I'm not coming to them this year.
