Why the heck did my newborn just sleep 4.5 hrs it was nice but don't do that again 😂😂😂

Enjoy it!!! My newborn has been sleeping for 6 hours at night since 2 weeks old! She is 11 weeks old now and two night ago she slept through the whole night!! Enjoy them sleeping! Lol

It's is definitely scary when they do that. But normal, they say don't wake a sleeping baby, when the baby is hungry don't worry he/she will let you know. They also say growth spurts have a lot to do with their sleeping schedules jumping around too. :) my son is almost 7 weeks old, when he's going through a growth spurt he's up every 2 hours eating, when he's not, he gets up once, 5am feeding. I still wake up multiple times to check on him though. Lol

@annabellasmom your not supposes to let habies sleep that long, your supposed to wake them up roughly every 3 to 4 hours.

Exactly @soontobemomof4 ! And why not? Is she wants to sleep I'm fine with it! If she is hungry she wakes up. She wakes up once at night at that at about 2-3 in the morning to eat. I love I. And doctor doesn't think there is anything wrong with it

She's gaining weight and feeding well during the day so I don't see anything wrong with it @81516mommy2be

My nephew slept through the whole night his first night home from the hospital and his pediatrician said some babies just like their sleep and to let them sleep cause they know when they are hungry. And to this day (he's 4 now) my sisters never had a problem with him sleeping lol

It's nice! @babyelkins2016 sleep can't hurt them lol and when they are hungry they will defienetly let you know

as long as he is gaining weight let him sleep. my poor guy is lactose intolerant and we finally had to switch to formula he's finally getting some sleep after getting so exhausted from crying that he had to sleep and be woken up five minutes later with belly Pain. he had to go to the hospital and he's better now. he's finally slept a good 5 hours. I've been checking on him every so often but if they want to sleep let them. every baby is different.
