I just cleaned with some cleaning products. I'm not bleeding or cramping but, I feel guilty because I shouldn't be doing this while pregnant, at least not in the first trimester. I was also pulling/pushing and lifting but, I didn't do it to where I was uncomfortable. I had to clean because the house was a pigstye and I couldn't bare to live in a nasty environment like that... Has anyone else lifted, push/pull heavy objects and used cleaning supplies while pregnant in the first trimester? I'm 8 weeks, and 5 days pregnant. The only thing that hurts is my lower back.

If you were doing all that before you got pregnant.. You can continue to do so.. It wont harm the baby.. Just make sure with chemicals your not using them in a closed area.

I had the AC on and I had the oven fan on. I don't normally clean often but, I have so far been moving stuff in this pregnancy and doing things on my own.

@ashleynx94, you should be fine.. Just listen to your body.. Take breaks & stay hydrated && everything will be fine..

I did. My doctor said don't over do it and make sure it was well ventilated.

Yeah I've cleaned the bathroom with scrubbing bubbles multiple times and I'm now in the 2nd trimester. I've used Lysol in the kitchen and some other cleaning stuff. Just make sure it's well ventilated you'll be fine. I've also lifted heavy things. Just don't overdo it
