I have disolveble stitches they are quite common now hun

Ive had 4 babies but 2 sections for the last 2, with first it was dissolvable ones with 2nd i had a metal bar and beads on the end of it ans it was taken out on day 4 i think xx

My sis has dissolvable stitches 4.5 years ago. X

@hawkie75, I had a c section on the 29th of July I got home on the 31st of July and 3 days later had the stitches taken out wasn't painful at all tbh x I didn't feel a thing when she did it x

@safiamammy1, @saraelisa @sensie @street29 aw thanks ladies, so it depends on hospital and circumstances maybe? Not to worry, if it doesn't hurt that much then it's ok lol I just couldn't remember at all, maybe I'll ask at pre assessment xxx

@hawkie75, yeah just ask a pre assessment different hospitals do different things xx I'm all healed up now xx

@haskie75, I had one almost 3 months ago and never had to go back, assume they just dissolved! Healed perfectly no problems. Good luck!
