When scheduling your first OB appointment after getting a positive test, does your doc normally ask for a pregnancy confirmation checkup first? Or do they just request that you come in at 6/7 weeks for your first ultrasound?

@brishug, where I live they will give us a pregnancy test in the office before anything.

Hey girly! Well from what doctors have told me in the past is, they usually won't see you until your at at least 8 weeks. Hey say this bc the baby is so small that it can be undetected when getting an ultra sound any sooner. But I'd definitely ask the doc! I'm sure it's different everywhere

@_jgcn, that makes a lot of sense! Ok:) I got what I thought was a very faint positive on the strip tests you buy off Amazon. I will test again on Monday but just in case it does come out positive and more clear, I called to try to make a pregnancy confirmation appointment and was shocked when they said come in oct 1st, which would be my 7th week lmao. I thought it might've been because they didn't believe me 😂🙈 okay I feel better.

LOL that's funny! How late are you? I'm 6 days late as of today and test this morning and got the most faintest line ever so I might try again tomorrow by with a cheapo test bc it does get pricey testing everyday lol but yeah I'll probably call too and try to get an appt if I get another faint line or two. It is so exciting though!
