okay moms of toddler i need some potty training advice. my son is completely potty trained at home and other peoples houses but he is terrified of public bathrooms and i have no idea why. he refuses to even go into a bathroom and he is not old enough to hold it that long so everytime we go somewhere he has to wear a pull up. any advice on getting him unscared of a public bathroom?

Mine is 5 and hates public bathroom, cause most of them have auto flush and it scares her

my son will be 3 next month and wont even go into a public bathroom he tells us he needs to use the bathroom but refuses to go inside of the bathroom. @bri28

Hmmm.... Maybe find out what scares him. I had a friend who took a kids cushioned toilet seat with her so her girl could sit on it.

It might be a long shot, but did he ever go with somebody else and had a bad experience? Maybe that triggered something? @mommyofallboys671

That's all I can think of... Maybe a family bathroom where all three of you can go in. I'm sure you've tried that already
