For those of you who have had c-sections, how'd your recovery go, and how long did it take? My Ob…

I won't lie, I hated the process. I was up 5 hours after the surgery, walking. it takes time, definitely. I was slow in walking for a week. but each week got better. the only problem about it now, it that a year later my scar itches and the nerves are gone (mostly). when I look back it wasn't that bad, but I don't wanna do it again ...unless I have to.

don't be afraid though! be confidant that your experience will be better! if you're breastfeeding, totally do it! take things easy for the first two, three weeks. if someone offers you help, take it. get rest. and if they give you a belly band, wear it!

i wasnt bad for me, of course its painful but, every week it gets better i feel like i felt better in 3 weeks i was walking a lot not laying in bed too much...i would say the most thing that hurt about it the most was getting up from bed to feed the baby

Thank you ladies! I do not plan to breastfeed, but I want to be one who recovers very quickly lol, but I know every one is different. How long did it take y'all before y'all were running and in the gym (if you went before) again? My husband and I are huge on fitness.. @alliecat_ @navywifej

they told me 6 weeks, and that was kinda around the time I felt GREAT enough to even do anything. I still felt little pinches of pain but that was it

The day after, I cried because I couldn't stand on my own. 3 days after I could move a little better. After a week, I felt completely fine. I was up and moving like I did prior to getting pregnant!

Just don't push yourself too much. A c section is MAJOR surgery. Mine wasn't planned, but I had a guy feeling I would have to have one. I cried in my nurses arms because I really didn't want one, but I knew in order to save both me and baby, I would have to have it.

I want to push myself, but not to the point I make anything worse! I'm sure I'll know my limits after the surgery for sure! Thank you @dijahhh 😊
