Say a prayer for our little family, we were admitted to the hospital on Monday I had over 15lbs of fluid in my legs! I've been diagnosed with slight pre-eclampsia, been giving potassium by IV (the worst if any of you mommies have to go through that) steroid shots for baby's lungs, and also insulin to control my sugar, (super late sugar diagnosis). They may be allowing us to go home tomorrow for 10 days and then back to deliver (that's the longest they will allow me to carry). Pray that all my levels stay good and we can go home for a little bit longer and she stays in for those 10 days so we can make it to 37 weeks! Crazy how quick things happen, on Monday I came to the hospital just so that someone would take me out of work, never would have imagined things were this severe!!
Oh man, magnesium was the worst. Don't know about potassium but mag is no fun either. Sorry your going through it momma. I had severe preeclampsia and another pregnancy complication too. I hope everything works out =]
it is literally the worst and I was not prepared. plus it took multiple tries of putting an IV in my hand because my body was so swollen. They gave me ambien, didn't help I thought I was losing my arm!
aw he seems to be doing great! It says magnesium on the bag probably the same thing! they should really warn a girl lol. it was like 2 AM.
