how much bleeding is normal after a c section? I'm 8 days post partum and it was brown blood but now it's back to red and has increased since I left the hospital.

you can bleed up to 6 weeks Moma. some people more some a little less. I only bled for about 2 weeks after my c sections tho.

Oh yes expect ALOT..I almost went tto the ER bc it seemed so abnormal but it finally subsided to a low flow after a week or two then went away altogether. I was going thru 2 pads per hour
