I shouldn't be nervous to post about this but I am, bc I know how mean and judgemental people can be so I'm hoping none of that comes up, bc I'm already pretty upset right now. We just went to our first doctor appointment and the topic of vaccines came up, and I told the doctor we aren't vaccinating and he got super cold and lowkey rude and told us he doesn't treat unvaccinated babies. So now we have to find a pediatrician that will let us make our own decisions for our baby. I am thinking we will get her the MMR since she will be in daycare. But I have such a strong opposition to injecting my baby with chemicals. I didn't just make the decision overnight, and I've done a lot of research and I've thought a lot about it. And I wish i was okay with it bc then things would be easier for us, but I just don't feel like it's right. I just feel so rejected and judged by that doctor it makes me feel sick.

While I'm pro-vaccine, I formula fed. & my OB treated me the same way for not breastfeeding.

we are doing shots . but like @kdollarhide said . i didnt produce milk to breastfeed . everyone treats me like i have the plague for it 🙄

@jdownin0511, girl get use to it my child's doctor gets an attitude when ever I ask him a question other than the standard check up we are doing. so we decided to see his partner instead. Idk where some of these doctors get off thinking they can talk down to us

I'm opting out of a few vaccines for my son and only allowing them to do 2 shots at a time, I'm looking for pediatricians now and making sure they are okay with it before hand. Also, I want a doctor who recommends more natural remedies vs. just prescribing medications.

Get used to it, even when you find a dr that will still take you they're like big bullies trying to push you into doing it. I used to get so anxious before visits for my son because I knew I was going to have to go through them trying to talk me into vaccines but after 5 yrs they finally stopped lol now my daughter goes there and all they said was, ok you know you need to sign a waiver...lol

i am not staying in the same city for very long, so i told his current pediatrician that we are doing a delayed vaccination schedule. i was advised to by his hollistic doctor in the city we are moving to to do so, so i can still see this doctor for the time being. they won't not see me because of it but before i told them they were always trying to convince me otherwise. as if i hadn't done any research or anything. like i was oblivious.
