Does anyone have experience or have ever had these migraines with auras called ocular migraines with visual disturbances like flashing lights, zig zags, numbness in your face or arms and then a full blown migraine??
I've always been prone to migraines since I was a teen so bad I've had CT scans-and they came back with a vengeance 2nd trimester but the last two days I've had the visual problems today I have numbness and then a full blown migraine starts. Idk if having contractions 10 minutes apart and the stress I'm under is causing them. Now my lips are numb my left hand is numb and I know my migraine is bout to start.

I've been having migraines with aurora since I was in my teens. I didn't have a single on while I was pregnant though. I had lots of regular headaches thought. I can't help you but I know how you feel.

@valrocks, half my Nose and roof of my mouth is tingly and numb and my left hand is. It's starting to away but here comes the actual headache. Which last night was bad and because of the numbness and spots I was seeing I know it's going to be bad again. It's like a warning beforehand. They suck. And it's just another thing that has complicated or made my pregnancy more difficult. I usually have to force myself to throw up and go to sleep when I have them. I'm starving but scared I'm going to have to just puke 🙄😖

Yeah. The aura is the warning. And yes if it's caused by something I ate it usually has to come out. And sleep is the only remedy. No amount of Advil or Tylenol helps. It only softens the blow. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Maybe try to sit in a dark room with a cool wet towel on your neck and a candle. It usually helps me. Something about the flame, even with my eyes closed I can still see it and it helps.

That's usually what I have to do. The contractions are just making everything hurt. I'm in tears I just wish I would I pass the F out and sleep I'm so tired and my body is tired from the pain. I wish baby girl would come out already. I know we would both be so much comfortable. @valrocks daddy said he can't see me like this for another 6 days when they want to induce me. I don't understand how my contractions are consistently 10 minutes apart but I'm not progressing just loosing tons of mucus and discharge which the plug came out completely yesterday and have gone through 15 pads in one day. I wish i could find some relief. I have a heating pad on low right now because I'm not taking a bath leaking like I am and I'm too weak to stand in the shower. It tends to drain me more. I'm trying to lay down and get comfy but it's impossible.
