I've already seen one person give birth & her child isn't even 2 weeks old yet & she already finds herself out partying…

I love my daughter to death but if I could, I would have went out with friends the day I got home from the hospital. I was sick for 7 months in my pregnancy and stuck in the house, She is three months now and I have not been out yet. Haven't been on any dates with my husband since I got pregnant and still no date. He works all day and I'm stuck at home

Lol I'm sure her child is fine. I'm happy she's enjoying herself.

Good for you for not going out. When I have this baby I will most definitely take a day out for myself and my baby will be a-ok with his dad while I recoup from being pregnant and life-less for 10 months.. And I dare anyone to say anything to me about it lol. Moms are people too and we need our personal time. That's how people get postpartum depression. They need to start living again and remember to satisfy their needs as well.

@jesjeslovesyou, right! I have a "Taye Day" every month. I'm not a drinker but I do treat myself to a nice day of spa and shopping, lunch with friends. I have to be the best Taye before I can even approach being the best mom for my kids.

I get all that . & I crave my days & time to myself too . I'm not saying that she can't do that or shouldn't . But from what I've seen she's been out almost every night . Once every blue moon is fine . Even still , I wouldn't find myself out doing whatever two weeks after giving birth either . But like I said , to each his own . @jesjeslovesyou

@tayek, as you should mama. Life doesn't stop once having a baby. It's just different. I'll go out as much as I want so long as my child is safe and happy. We deserve it more than anyone. Almost a year of our life was spent pregnant, lol. I can't wait to get out again.
