no ive never had this either but for the first time when Everlee was born they gave her a hand knitted white and pink hat which was sweet

If the hospital has donated stuff from people that knit for newborns then that maybe why @tam77 I know in scbu they often do. But with NHS cut backs etc I can't see it being a routine thing with blankets. They barely have enough pillows and sheets these days lol.
