What do you think of the bumbo seat mommies? I got one for my daughter but tonight I have read some…

I have used them with all my kids. It helps strengthen their back muscles. I started my son off in it at 4 mo old for only a few minutes a day. Now he's in it for about 20 minutes a day.

they used to have a recall on them but they came back improved can't remember the reason why ,I guess just make sure to keep an eye on your little one at all times.

@sktraum, how old is your baby now? My daughter is turning 7 months old soon I hope it is not too late for her to use it. The reason I got it is because she cant sit up on her own yet will it help? What kind did you buy? Thank you for your response by the way :)

@jayare, I think the reason why it was controversial before was because of the falling issues thats why they put strap on them now. And yeah you are right as long as I will keep on my little one should be no worries right and in moderation always. Thank you :)

My son is 7 mo old too. He can't sit up on his own yet either. I'm trying to get him in the bumbo more as well as his excersaucer for strength. I bought the one with the tray on it. Idk the name but I'm almost positive it's the bumbo name brand. I've had no problems with it and he tries leaning over the sides and everything. Totally happy with it.

I bought the Summer brand of the Bumbo seat, it was way cheaper. The tray comes off or can spin all the way around to use the back part for snacks. It has straps and has extra straps to use for a booster as well. I'm really happy with it.

@tmross, my daughter has one too and it helped her sit up, by the time she was 6 months she was already doing pretty well with sitting up. Definitely recommend it!!! @glasyosa
