Tomorrow im getting induced. still havent decided if Conner is getting circumcised yet. Dad isnt sure either. What are your opinions
Yea my sister has a 4 year old step son who is not circumsized and about 6 months ago his foreskin reattached itself to his penis and she had to repeatedly peel it back off and it bled and bruised and hurt it very bad but had to be done over the course of a month and thats the second time in 3 years shes had to do that also uncircumsized babys have higher risk of infections (yeast) throughout theyre life even as adults its medically proven...... Its your choice personally my son is getting snipped but thats just me darlin .....
@vaporeon, for sure ☺️ guys would know better then us girls really! That's why I left it up to him! Lol
You know he can have problems when he is older to where the head will swell and the skin will cut off circulation and they will have to do it when he is older
thats what i was hoping too. i thi k we will go through with it since dad is done. @sharonpaige13
I circumcised my son...they aren't in as much pain as some people make it out to be they give them a pain killer and numb it...my little guy was never fussy like at all! I left the decision up to his dad since he is a guy and all and he said he wanted it done and I said okay not arguing over it lol
it was a pain. I had to constantly push his skin back every diaper change. if I didn't it would start to seal itself shut. @vaporeon
@phinnybinz, yeah i heard its mainly america. and now with no people not doing it. i can see in like 20 some yrs where itll prob be the norm. but i told my fiance i feel like its extra stress on the baby and extra unneeded crying for him. but then again i dont wanna regret not doing it when hes born either. @ssdj4 havent heard of the extra fat before
I circumcised my son. Gonna do it with this one too but see if they can do the ring beings we had issues with extra fat with our first born.
America is one of the only places that does it for no apparent reason. There is no medical benefit to circumcision, despite what some people believe. It's really a personal choice and something you should decide with your husband and doctor. ☺️
i was wondering if others who havent had it done wished they had or vice versa.@maddiesmommy022916, so many people do it out of habit so im not sure.
@curvymommy, I've heard that it's actually bad to pull back their skin you just clean like you would a thumb not too sure though but circumcision is 100% up to you if I had a boy I wouldn't because dad isn't it's purely cosmetic so it really depends on parents
I know some people are for it and some people aren't, I personally am for circumcision. my son got circumcised and he perfectly fine, I find it easier during potty training and when I had to change his diapers. you don't have to push anything back or teach him how to when using the bathroom. some people may call that lazy, but it's made my life a lot easier.
If I ever have a son I would choose not to. I see it as just a cosmetic procedure and unneeded pain . my fiance is not circumcised and he has never had problems with it. that's just my opinion though :)
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
GENDER POST! ??????
Alright mommas for everyone whose going to be finding out gender sometime in November or later..lets get a post going and keep each other updated. And for everyone who has already found out post below what you thought you were going to have and what you are actually having! ?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
For Fun
With most of us in a sleep regression or exhausted from being working moms, or just plain bored I figured it would be fun to get a little game started... so who's up for 2 truths and a lie? It's easy.. you post 3 facts about yourself, 2 true and 1 lie and when you guess you post yours here's mine:
@vaporeon my fiance said he doesn't want our son to have it done if we ever have one lol. He said he likes his the way it is and doesn't wish that he would have been circumcised lmao. It's you're decision and you'll do what is best for you're little one :) I was stating my opinions about it to family when I was pregnant and didn't know what I was having. none of them agreed with me and told me I needed to do it if it was a boy but I don't care what they think and I would not do it just because they tell me to. it's mine and my fiance's decision
