#1- yes, it hurt. felt like I was losing my virginity again but a tiny bit worse. He said I was super tight and had issues getting it in. #2, I did not need an epesiotomy with my second baby. :)

@babymaciesmomma, thank you for responding! And ouch!! 😳 did it hurt after you did it once? Or did it start feeling normal again? And that's good to know you didn't need a second one. How big were both of your babies?

First was 7 pounds 13 ounces, second was 8 pounds 10 ounces. At the time I was with my other daughters dad who was way too large for comfort anyway, so it hurt quite a few times before it started to get better. But with my second daughter who I had with my fiancé, the first one or two times hurt, I did rip and need like 2 stitches.... But the pain wasn't anything close to how it was after the epesiotomy.

Just go slow. tell him to be gentle the first few times. Use lube if you need it. And something I was told works before and after you have a baby is a perineal massage. Give that a try if you're worried. :)

Doc told me wait 6 weeks, and yep I had to get another episiotomy with my 2nd child also. Suckssssss 😑
