kind of weird but has any one had contractions or bad bad pain like by their hip??? I'm laying down and it's only on one side but it hurts so bad it's almost made me catch my breath a few times. it's not a gas pain or anything but it hurts so bad it's making me nauseous

I've had a sharp pain in my right hip that made it so that I couldn't even get up. I was told that it was sciatic nerve pain
