Might delete this app..Sick of women complaining about being over 35 weeks without a baby just because they're uncomfortable.And say theyre gonna try to start labor or ask for an induction. Babies need all the time they can get in the womb to fully develop. The longer they stay in the less chance of them having breathing trouble there is. I get that its uncomfortable, I really do, but its worth it to wait for a baby that ready to be delivered instead of forcing early labor on yourself. Its harder on the baby AND your body. Im extremely envious of all you women who get the chance to carry full term, I would love that. But unfortunately my doctor says hes seriously considering inducing me at 37 weeks or EARLIER because of the way my baby isnt growing fast enough, my risk of pre-eclampsia, and my gestational diabetes. When I got a second opinion they said theyd consider doing the same. So if you have a healthy pregnancy, why not let your little one be? If you can have a full term baby instead of a preemie, why would you force it early? I dont get a choice because of health reasons, and it just breaks my heart seeing that women who can carry full term are chosing not to because of completely selfish reasons when they could wait...It just gets on my nerves...Why up the chances of your child being sent to the NICU if you dont have to....? Sorry for the rant...Rant over.

Agreed I would love to be able to carry full term my son was born at 33 weeks and stayed in the NICU for a month and my daughter was born at 35 weeks and had to luckily only stay 4 days in the hospital and I would not wish it on my worst enemy it's the worst thing ever I'm now pregnant with baby number 3 and my dr. Is saying there a high chance of going early again and taking all the right steps to be prepared for it and it really sucks.!

@rari, I completely agree with you. I had my first full term and then my 2nd came early at 37 weeks and 3 days. He had to go straight to the nicu because of a hole being in his lung with fluid in his lungs as well. He had to be in there for a week. It's heart breaking to see you baby so helpless. I didn't choice to have him at 37 weeks I was in full blow labor and my doctor decided it was not safe to try a vbac and did an emergency c-section. I believe if women can wait they honestly need to. I was told that he could be fine to be born as early as 37 weeks but in my case it wasn't and now that I'm pregnant again I will try and wait full term. I don't want to experience that ever again. I got so depressed because I couldn't see my son. I got to see him for 10 mins b4 he got rushed to another city. 😭 Luckily he is a healthy 14 month old now. But because I had him early he has had alot of problems with his health. Alot of these first time moms don't understand the importance of waiting.
