It's not just you! Mother in law showed no interest when I was pregnant, he is now 11 weeks old and she hasn't even been to meet him. She lives a 5 min drive away. If people don't bother with you forget them it's their loss. You certainly find out who your real friends are when you have a baby!

nope I've got one too! people that popped up on fb after 5+years of forgetting I existed then bam I announce Im pregnant and "oh my god I'm gonna be an aunty" bitch please step away from crazy hormonal pregnant lady before she smacks you into next week 😂

@sarah396, really? That's terrible!! To be honest I don't have that many friends as it is due to living a bit further away, but I know they will try and get me to travel to them purely so they can meet my little boy when he's here!!🙄xx

@muffinmay, that's the worse😂 I had that too😂 I announced on Facebook that I was pregnant and a girl who i used to be friends with ( hadn't spoken to in like 2 years ) comments claiming she's god mother, like no thank you!! Xx

@amylouise9789, they should travel to you especially in the first few days. I had a caesarean and was in too much pain to go visiting in the first couple of weeks. I certainly know who I can rely on now anyway! X

haha it's crazy isn't it? you know who your real friends are the ones that don't need to be contacted every 5 mins that will appear at your house without warning with food

@sarah396, all family and close friends know that me and OH won't be traveling for people to meet our son when he's here, not fair on newborn to constantly be traveling! Im due 11th December, so very close to Christmas which makes it a lot more busy!😳X

yep....both mine and the ohs dads i just smile and wave when I see them...they always attempt to come over and see the grandchild they COULD have had but I just walk away evil I know but who cares 😂 x
