got a new puppy last night and I feel like taking care of him is preparing for those sleepless nights with a newborn. I got up 4 times last night because he was crying

6 weeks. We took my big dog with us to my husbands grandparents and this little pup became so attached to her and started following her and playing with her. My dog loves this pup and she wouldn't leave without him and he cried when he couldn't see her. so he came home with us and every time she went outside he cried because he couldn't follow her out the doggie door.

@vicky810, My dog has had baby fever so bad and I think she seen the puppy and just had to have him because he is so little and she can take care of him.

@vicky810, well she isn't fixed but she has only been around female dogs and our female cat. All of which are smaller than her and she tries to take care of them and love on them.
