Any moms have a 5 year old almost 6 you think is ADHD? I'm not sure if you can diagnose a child so young but the older he gets the more talking he does he starts from the moment he wakes up to the time he goes to sleep at night! He interrupts people and don't let a stranger say he's cute or talk to me he literally doesn't stop ask him to sit still he can't has to move something! I'm very familiar with it because I used to do the same things as a child and would constantly get moved in class and made bad grades I couldn't focus it sucked my teachers begged my mom to get me tested for ADHD and she refused so when I joined the army people noticed and asked on the daily if I had ADHD so I got tested and low and behold I do have it! Im just wondering if my little one has it cuz this child literally can't stop talking EVER and can't sit still 😩

I was diagnosed as ADHD before I was even born lol I hate being adhd. so children can be diagnosed at a young age

Oh really yea I really really believe he has it! He's so smart but if you put some simple work in front of him he's just like I was he can't just sit and do it and be done it takes like 8 hours for him to complete and well he just can't be still or anything you tell him to stop all day long literally the same things everyday ugh I hate for him to have it because I hate that I have it but I will definitely get him looked at @zachsbabygurl @korahleah_11

good luck! my son is 2.5 and is the same way. he was having full convos at age 1 but he cant comprehend anything in front of him. i will gettinf him tested soon since its runs in pur family.

Oh really yes I get so frustrated with my son and I try my best not to but it's hard when he just can't stop! He does this thing where he walks ahead of you and you have to hold his hand everywhere if not he'll run out into the street not looking he jumps/hops everywhere broke his flip flops all of them! @kayloniandkirksmommy

Thanks I'll need it! And see my son didn't make much noise when he was little he was pretty good as a baby and toddler but now it's just overboard and he's over friendly he talks to strangers we had a friend of mine he hadn't met and had him pretend he was a stranger and had him talk to Ryan and he told Ryan he has some toys in his truck and ryans like okay let's go and just left I'm like wtf!!! So yea it's just gotten worse over time @korahleah_11

Right now.... I haven't. However when he starts school we have extra programs he'll be in and medication he'll be on. However right now I treat it with (this sounds awful however I'm not crazy there's reasoning behind it) Mountain Dew, or letting him chew on something or running

My son will be 6 in December and my husband & I wonder the same. He's constantly having to do something can't ever stay still

He talks a lot & he does interrupt but he's gotten a little better at saying excuse me then talks. My husband believes he is but his doctor said he wasn't but didn't really run test or anything.

There's no real "test" for ADHD. And that's slightly why it is so over diagnosed. @mrs.walton26

Well I definitely got tested for it but I'm sure for adults it's different but it's like questions like do you have a hard time sitting still is it hard to focus stuff like that crazy thing is I got medical discharge out the army for my back and some miracle ADHD (depression) it's crazy @mrs.walton26 @dcb012

Yeah they do questioners and such but that's all the testing they can do. No blood testing, or such.

My cousin had adhd but she took medicine in the morning to tone all of it down it'll would wear off around 5 ish @ryanandgreysonsmom
