See I give my son 4 ounces, but he wants it every hour and a half to two hours. So I didn't know if that meant I should bump up the amount I'm giving him.
@jaxmomma, my pedi alwys told me if they want more give it to them, maybe its a growth spurt or maybe ur little one is just hungry, unless ur little one is throwing it up they will be okay. Have u tried purees or are you waiting till 6months? Or baby cereal?(oatmeal)?
i give her 6oz every 3-4 hours. she wont settle for anything less its been that way since she was 8 weeks old. shes always hungry and now that shes old enough i give her fruit once a day
at 5 months my son was drinking 8 oz with stage 1 baby food mixed in lol. before then he had a bit of cereal mixed in his milk. he was never full and feeding every hour and a half. after that, he started feeding every 2 1/2 -3.
@jessicruz, @emiliasmommy15 @sk216 my son has always had a problem with acid reflux, so we've never been able to give him more than 4 ounces at a time. He eats peas, sweet potatoes, etc but he gets full after a quarter of the jar lol
They said it's just because his stomach can't handle it all at one time @jessicruz He likes cereal too, but I try not to give him too much of I because it's just empty calories. I give him peas and other baby foods, but he gets full so fast, then wants to eat again in an hour to two hours lol I tried giving him 6 ounces this morning and he could only take 4 😕

awe ❤. ask your doctor about rice cereal, some recommend it for babies with acid reflux? or maybe switching his milk?
