I have a question for any mommy's that are on or were on an iron supplement...how long did it take until you started to get your energy back instead of feeling exhausted all the time? I just started 2 days ago and don't expect immediate results, just an estimate.

depends. I was on them after I had my first about a week and I was good :)

oh I know. and the pregnancy does not help any. makes it worse I sleep all the time I feel like a lazy bum. sucks :/

@mamaofaando, me too! I'm getting close to the end and I have so much to do to get ready for my baby shower and the birth and get my son settled into his room yet I'm so sleepy

I had to be iron pills and I feel like hey didn't even help at all! I was still exhausted 24/7 but everyone is different ☺️

my last two pregnancies i was placed on the iron and my daughter i had a ton of energy with the iron plus prenatal... but my son i was exhausted all the time and the pills made me nauseous and i constantly throw them up. This being my third i was told i'd be back on the iron so im not sure bc it's always different..

@ga_bree_ela, okay thank you! I had low iron with my first but was never put on supplements. hopefully the iron plus prenatal vitamins will work together to help.
