My 3 year old is terrified to get his hair washed anymore. It was so bad tonight I literally felt like I was killing him. I never want to feel like that again😥 I've never seen him so scared before.
I don't know what else to do, he won't let me lay him down in the tub, won't even get near the shower and now our usual hair wash isn't working. There's nothing else for me to do that I know of. Anyone have any ideas? Might just be in his dna since his dad is scared of water. But he never has been 😔

When my parents adopted my little brother he was absolutely terrified of water, thank goodness it only lasted a month but she'd either let him pour water onto his head or use the rag idea!

dry shampoo until he slowly starts accepting hair washes? or does he like playing in the bath tub? maybe a bubble bath where he doesn't notice he's getting a wash?

@jessicruz, he loves playing in the bath! And even in the pool he doesn't mind getting his head wet, maybe it's just the confined space in the tub. It just all of a sudden clicked in his head that he's scared to death of it. Not even a cookie would get him to calm down 😞
