My OB visit yesterday almost caused me to change doctors. The way they brought up my weight gain was rude af but when I called to complain I found out the lady wasn't an OB but a nurses practitioner and that they won't schedule me anymore appointments with her! But I will take her advice and start to try and lose weight! So ladies and ideas of foods I should start eating?

Omg, some NPs are so rude! Before I got pregnant I was having extremely bad cramps and having HEAVY periods. I knew birth control would help but wanted to see if anything else would help. And the doctor I tried to see was always on vacation so I knew I'd have to see her NP all the time. First time I met her and told her what was wrong, she asked what the pain level of my cramps were, and since I've had a ruptured brain aneurysm where I thought my brain was gna explode, I figured the cramps weren't that bad so I told her they were like a 7/8, where usually my cramps are like a 3. So then she goes into this long explanation about what cramps are and why we have them. I was just thinking, I've had a period since I was 12 yrs old... I don't need you to explain to me what period cramps are. And she didn't even try to help me with any my problems, just basically left me to suck it up, like it was every woman's problem. I switched OBs right away and the guy I see now fixed my problem the first appt I had 😎

@hernandez, @christineg @despicablerenee she said I had a 7 pound weight gain since my last visit. (Which was a month and a half ago) and she was like we only want to see a 3 pound weight gain a month. She was just rude the whole time I was there I almost cried. But I'm more then positive it's water weight cuz I eat a lot of fruit and I drink so much water

I didn't gain any weight during my pregnancy...I lost weight ..and the nurse asked me if I was eating ...I cursed her ass out so severely lol ...my doctor said as long as the baby is gaining weight good...then everything is fine...
