I'm just curious if anyone else's OB has done the same... according to my lmp my due date was only off by one day compared to the first u/s I had. so LMP due 9/21 (which is our anniversary😍) and first u/s measured due date to be 9/22. now I've had an u/s in office I believe I was 32 weeks and then one in hospital due to preterm labor when I was 33 weeks and 4 days. at the in office u/s she told me baby is measuring big (around 34 weeks) but she never changed my due date. so when I went into preterm labor of course they stopped based on gestation of 33 weeks. I'm glad they did I want him to cook as long as possible just curious to why my doc didn't change my due date. she said no need to. anyone else?

they usually don't change it unless its over 2 weeks difference my anatomy scan showed I should be due Dec 31 but based on my lmp it was Dec 28th so they kept it the same I think because the measurements of baby aren't 100% accurate and some babies are just bigger

Mine said within 5 days of LMP due date they don't change it. So my LMP has me due 1/1 but my first ultrasound had me due 12/29. But doctor stays with the 1/1 EDD from the LMP date because it wasn't off by more than 5 days.

mine is measuring a week ahead...my OB just has two due dates on my file. so anywhere from September 4-september 10th for me..

so it made sense what @brie15 sense because my doc kept stressing I need you to at least make to 35 weeks. my doc says 37 weeks is term so if baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead... yeah makes sense @heatherlg88 I was already 3.5 cm dilated at 33 weeks. my doc showed no concern if he came earlier then 37 weeks as Long as I hit the goal of 35 weeks for development. in all I'm so happy and proud I made it this far! I had my son at 33 weeks and that was scary.

I had two babies at 35 weeks beside having a low sugar(which can also happen in full term babied) which a bottle fixed they were fine took them home 2 days later when they discharged me no breathing help no nicu nothing

Ultrasounds can always measure up to 2 weeks behind or ahead of schedule, and babies can grow at different rates throughout pregnancy. The due date is really just an estimate anyways bc baby will come when he/she is ready, but the LMP is a better guess if you know it. :)

My LMP has me due at 9/12 but my first ultrasound says 9/19. My baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead and my due date hasn't changed either. But either way I'm getting induced at 38 weeks.

My lmp dd is dec 22 and us dd is Jan 5. On all my ultrasound pics it still has the lmp dd. Idk y they won't change it
