my baby is 5 weeks old i wanted to know what do you all use in your baby's hair to grow & take care…

i shampoo use olive oil n brush it, with a dab of conditioning grease

It depends on his hair type on what you should use. My sons dad is mixed so I guess my son could be considered mixed but he has a lot of curly and thick hair. I use coconut oil and moisturize his hair doing the l.o.c method then maybe 3-4 times a week his hair is braided, which has made it grow even more. I sue Shea moisture kids shampoo and conditioner once on week(on Saturday or Sunday) some times I go two weeks. Get a good styling product if you leave his hair out. Comb it everyday.

@lifewithplumms this is her Hair..but okay I've been Johnson's head to toe but i will buy some kids products..her hair isn't long enough to braid yet..but thank you

Looks like my sons when he was born. Keep it moisturized but not too much. I used johnsons for a little but it dried his hair out more than anything. I might take a while to find things that work for her hair but once you do you'll start seeing the change.

@briiie19, my daughter is fully African American as well ,she just turned three months, I use a product call Cara B. it's really good. it's made for African American and Mixed babies hair. Each bottle (shampoo, leave in conditioner/hair mist) is about 10 dollars, I don't know if that's on the pricey side for you but it's really good
