So this is probably a stupid question, but FTM here.. If I never got menstrual cramps in my stomach during my periods will I get them for labor pains? I only ever got cramps in my back and they weren't ever super bad.

Whether or not you have them during your period I don't think matters with labor pains...the beginning of labor feels like menstrual cramps but since you never had cramps the whole thing would just be brand new to you

Wow you're so lucky! I sometimes had the WORST freaking cramps during my periods. I eventually got used to them I guess but, they'd like keep me up all night crying in a ball they'd be so bad so you're definitely VERY lucky haha

I had light pain in my lower back the morning i went into labor then they increase to what felt like really bad period cramps every two minutes for literally two minutes long lol but i got an epidural so i never got to feel what actually contracting labor feels like

@1sttimemummy, Geez that sucks! I would get period pains in my back that were dull and only lasted the first day, but I would take midol and it would go away!

I have terrible back pain from a car accident already so it just made that worse and I couldn't take midol because it has caffeine :(
