so my doctor said it's normal to have carpal tunnel like symptoms.... anyone else have this
I had it and my doctor recommended sleeping with wrist braces and it helped. I just grabbed them from Walmart.
I'm almost 40weeks they will probably make me wait it out @phinnybinz ... @firsttimegypsymama I know look at the comment under you maybe if your not as far along as I am it will help you
I had it, it came on early and strong this pregnancy. I've never had it prior to now. I asked my OB and they gave me a referral to an orthopedist. He gave me a steroid shot in both wrists and after about 5/6 days everything was back to normal! Best decision I could have made. The pain and numbness was so debilitating and the brace was just annoying. Might be worth asking about ☺️
Yes, and being on your cell phone texting, or typing on a computer...many different triggers. My mom was diagnosed also, hers was triggered by a car accident but I definitely think it runs in your genes (could be wrong) I'm trying everything BUT the surgery. She did the surgery and is fine, but it's not guaranteed that it will not come back so I don't see the need being out of work for 4 weeks with the chances of it happening again. 😕
@jaxmomma that's crazy I'd never think that it would cause that @michelle2220 same trying to wash dishes or anything that I have to grip on too @pr1ncess thank you hope yours let's up too.. my mom has it and I only work in factory's that use lots of hand movement so that probably didn't help me out
I've had it since before I was pregnant but definitely got worse during pregnancy. Sleeping with the braces on bothered me at night but definitely helped throughout the day...my sister in law also got diagnosed w/ it from pregnancy only and it's gone away now that my beautiful nephew is here so there is still hope for you ☺️
yep. my hands are always sleep and in pain. everyday when I do my daughters hair I can't even feel my hands
Oh okay
