A friend and I were having a debate about letting your man have female friends. She said she don't let her man have female friends no matter if he knew them before she came into the picture. Now I see it like this, my man is grown I can not tell him what and what not to do. He has enough respect to not be making any new female friends but the female friends who have been around before me I honestly don't care if he talks to them or not. I guess it just depends on the person cause my man is very open to me about his friendships as am I. I personally would never want to be with someone who tried to control what I do and who my friends are so I'm never like that with my boyfriend.

My husband has female friends and I have male friends. We trust each other enough to allow those friendships to be there.

I honestly don't care either way. If my husband makes or has female friends, good! maybe he'll tall to them and they can give him actual useful advice because we all know a man giving another man woman advice is like swimming upstream. haha

My husband and I have friends together. He doesn't hang out with women and I don't hang out with men nor do we text/call the opposite sex for casual conversation. We trust each other but we also know what this world is like so we are careful of how we represent each our marriage. People are so easy to spread gossip. I think every relationship has something that works for them. Control is never a good thing. Just have to find what works for you. And trust is a good thing! :)
