My baby HATES her car seat, and riding in the car. Tomorrow, we are taking a trip to Sacramento it's about 4 hours for us to get there. I exclusively breastfeed. I thought about getting a bottle and pumping to help with the long trip, but I can't manage to figure out how to pump. I'm also scared that if I pump and give her a bottle she won't want to breast feed anymore and just want the bottle. Or if I give her a bottle my mother will give her formula. I need some advice mommies...

@chelesti9, that's what a lady told me to get my baby because she was screaming her head off... I tried taking her out like 5 mins at a time and working up to longer trips and that didn't work either.. Hopefully the new car seat works
@rhonda.otero, I swear my daughter knows, when I put her in the car seat she's pissed off and scream cries. I got her a big girl car seat, one that's safe for babies her age obviously, it reclines back so I'm hoping she'll do better in that one than the carrier.
My daughter hates the car and cries the entire time in the car most trips. I also exclusively breastfeed. I feel like it helps to go according to her schedule so I feed her and right as she is getting sleepy or right after I let her fall asleep I put her in the car and that works usually for about an hour of the trip until she wakes then the screaming begins lol
My daughter was like that as well until we got her a new car seat which is the Graco Nautilus 65 she now loves looking out the window
