Can someone tell me why at every OB appointment I have to leave a urine sample?

They're checking your protein levels it's precautionary for preeclampcia

They are checking to see if you have gestational diabetes or preeclampsia. They can detect either of those conditions from your urine. Thats why they do it at every appointment

they do that to me everytime my bottom number in my blood pressure is higher then 90 😒

And to check for drugs but they won't tell you that

They do the same to me
