I hate the thought of my mom possibly not being here while I'm in labor because she lives two and a half hours away.
As soon as I feel anything she said to let her know and she'll drive down here right away. I wish she could just be here for sure, the second I start having contractions or anything. Id feel so much more comfortable.

see if she will come stay with you when you get closer to baby time ! is this your first child ? its not always true but a lot of times labor for the first baby lasts a little longer so I'm sure she will have time to get to you as soon as you need her ! I just had my first son in may and my labor lasted 65 hours. I checked into the hospital Sunday night (may 8th) and didn't have him until Tuesday afternoon. (may 10) hopefully you can figure something out with her, having my mom with me was the best thing and such a wonderful memory for both of us. good luck mama
