So my MIL and well all of my hubbys fam lives in Mexico. Most of them have only met my son once but one of his sisters which is my son's Godmother comes to see us every six months. So when I was pregnant with my 1st my SIL came for our shower and brought gifts for the baby from her and her 2 other sister's but nothing from my MIL!!! I was very upset not for me but for my hubby!! I mean that's her grandbaby!! I didn't expect much but at least something small like a blanket or something would of been nice. I never said anything in front of my hubby just so he wouldn't feel bad but I knew he did. And every time my mom buys something for our son he just stays quiet. Now that we are expecting our second son she has never asked how the baby is doing or how I'm feeling!! It makes me so mad because my hubby is always theee for them and whenever they need money he sends it to them. Or for her bday and mother's day he always sends money. I just don't get why she is like that!!??

It doesn't change sadly.. My mother is the same way we buy her tickets to see her grand kids on fb she comments on stuff and says I'm missing out give them my loves it's more sad now that they are older and they aren't dumb they know which grandparents put time and effort into them .. My mil does so much for her grandkids I use to get sad but I realized it's about the babies not me and I can't control her behavior or how she chooses to be ..
