Assistance needed. My 18 month old is now in the phase of slapping, biting and jumping all over me and my husband. She thinks it's hilarious, and just won't quit. She's very persistent when you take her off of you and move her, she just comes back for more giggling the whole time. She responds to her dad if he tells her to stop but she walks all over me (literally)I need to know how to discipline her. She's starting to do the same things to the dog and cat. I can't have her acting this way, especially towards at almost 26 weeks and on. It's starting to really get to me. I just need some advice on what to do, please!

The rule we've always used was however old the child is that's how long they should stay in time out. Obviously you might need longer then a minute but I wouldn't go over 2-3 minutes at a time in time out @jewellgirls

My 16 month old does the same thing.. I've questioned if he even understands me when I talk cause he doesn't listen. I've do time outs sometimes but he'll do it again. Idk anymore I just walk away and he chases after me like I'm playing but eventually he finds something else to do
