@dabcw3814, I got that part, it's just not giving me a balance when I call. It's saying I entered an invalid card number. I just applied today and got my card today so I was wondering if it usually comes on the same day.

Oh crap yea that is happening to me too. I applied and it's saying invalid. But they are still making a decision on mine. If they told you it got approved (my fiancée had them) it usually was there the same day. That's strange it says invalid :(

@dabcw3814, Yes. I applied today and the case worker told me that after I went downstairs to do my finger printing to come back up to him and I would find out right then and there if I was approved. So he told me I was and sent me to get my card...and now I'm just waiting.

They come same day not the full amount that you will receive monthly just something to hold you over till you officially receive your food stamps

Also Wat you can do to find out how much you have is to call there automated system the number is on the card

@romesmommy, I've been calling the automated system and it says card number invalid. Then I used the option to search via my social and it said I entered a social not in the system. I think I am getting the full amount because the worker said I would be getting $511 on my card and told me when I applied today that I was approved today. If it's not there in the morning I'm just going to go back.
