So today I went to the doctor for a sinus and ear infection. After checking some things, the doctor had me lay on my back so she could check my stomach because she thought it would help. She kept listening to it and then she said she heard something like a little consistent noise. I kept trying to ask her about it, but she wouldn't tell me anything and kept avoiding the subject. Could anyone provide me with some information on this?
I'm at a loss. I certainly wouldn't be returning to that office. If they hear a "consistent noise" that they can't define but don't bother expounding upon then that's not the kind of doctor I'd want - personally
did she set up another appt or what? she just told you there's a consistent noise then sent you home?
I called the doctor once I got home and tried to ask again. She just kept saying it was a consistent noise. She listened for a minute and it stayed in the same pattern the entire time. I asked a bunch of times because I don't want anything to be wrong. She wouldn't give me ANY information! @phinnybinz
That's an extremely odd situation. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot that we can help with on here. There are SO many different abdominal noises and things that could be going on. I personally wouldn't have left without an answer, but I would call now and ask what in the world is going on...
She said it didn't matter at this point since is didn't concern my sinus problem. She also said that she will look at it when I come back for my physical in two weeks. At first she seemed concerned and then just went back to asking question about my sinus infection. I'm worried because I don't know if it's something serious or not. @jffelder_ @phinnybinz
